Meet 'Trekkers-R-Us'

We're a mixed bunch of experienced and not-so experienced trekkers who decided back in November to do something a little more challenging than grabbing a few beers together! Charity was more often than not buying cakes or paying for dress down days...Trailwalker 2013 is going to be a little more of a challenge!

TrailWalker 2012
Kaila Bishop

Why are you doing the challenge?
Because it will be epic and I can't wait to share it with the team; and I had to stop after 60km last year - absolutely determined to finish as a team this time!

What have you done before that might compare?
Nothing compares to this challenge, although I have been support crew for a team and I know how much of a challenge it is both physically but more psychologically challenging - we will be great as a team and get each other through it!

What are you (not) looking forward to?
Looking forward to the challenge, not looking forward to the hill at the beginning of leg 2 - I got blown over last time I climbed it!

Why are you doing the challenge?
Over the past few years I have been involved in, and arranged, charity cycle rides and thought an extra challenge would be good. The guys knew I was vulnerable and caught me at a good time!

What have you done before that might compare?
I cycled to Paris in 2010 over 5 days from Southampton for charity, camping along the way...but that was really enjoyable. I have managed to complete 2 London marathons in the past and they were very much mind over matter!

What are you (not) looking forward to?
I can't wait to see the lights of Brighton as we emerge from the darkness on Sunday morning....plus the curry at the end! The recovery afterwards is going to be a challenge - it took me 2 days to get over the marathon, and that's a third of the distance!

There are more of us - just waiting for the guys to provide the answers rather than me make it all up about them!!!
